Well Dweller Guide

All 32 Well Dweller trinkets

Every trinket in Well Dweller, in one place: the full 32-entry roster with slot costs, shop prices and upgrade tiers, then a short entry for each of the seven items players search for by name. This is the reference page — the main trinkets guide covers builds, slot economy and which upgrades to buy first.

Returning to an upgraded item or shop

The October 2 patch fixes upgraded Melted Candle sometimes failing to work and shop prices sometimes not matching the display. Read your current shop and equipment menu before buying or comparing an old screenshot. For a Spirit reward missed after leaving its room, load the updated save and check inventory; recovery details.

Official second patch.

All 32 trinkets at a glance

Same 32 entries as the planner above, in plain text so you can read them without clicking. Slots are the equipment-menu values; price is Looter's shop price with the Queens cost of the same purchase in brackets.

The seven trinkets players ask about most

Silver Spoon

6 slots · Survival · not sold — it is a world or reward find. Surrounds you in a brief protective barrier while you attempt to heal. No upgrade tier. It ties for the highest slot cost in the game at 6 and has no upgrade tier — you are paying for the panic button, not for scaling.

Spider's Web

1 slot · Vessel · not sold — it is a world or reward find. Lets you slingshot a flaming vessel using the slingshot and special-attack controls. No upgrade tier. The cheapest trinket in the game at a single slot, which makes it the default filler whenever you have one slot left and nothing better to spend it on.

Rusty Fork

5 slots · Damage · 200 currency (+100 Queens). Increases damage dealt when you are at low health. Upgrade tiers: slight → moderate → significant. The low-health half of the damage pairing: it pays out exactly when the flame-as-health system has you at your weakest, so it rewards staying hurt instead of healing immediately.

Golden Needle

5 slots · Survival · 300 currency (+150 Queens). A constant circle of spikes surrounds you when you are low on health. Upgrade tiers: below 25% HP → below 50% → below 100%. A defensive aura rather than a weapon: the circle of spikes only exists below the health threshold, so its uptime is a direct function of how comfortable you are fighting hurt.

Blue Bow

4 slots · Survival · not sold — it is a world or reward find. Automatically uses an oil vial to heal if you would otherwise die. No upgrade tier. It spends an oil vial automatically when a hit would kill you. At 4 slots and no upgrade path it is pure insurance for a first boss attempt, not a long-term slot.

Fish Hook

4 slots · Vessel · 300 currency (+150 Queens). Greatly increases your vessel refill rate while at low health. Upgrade tiers: at low health → below half health. Vessel-focused builds take it for the refill rate at low health; with one upgrade tier it is one of the few cheap trinkets that gets better in the workshop.

Insect Wing

4 slots · Utility · not sold — it is a world or reward find. Increases the duration of your hover. No upgrade tier. Utility rather than combat: the hover extension changes which gaps you can cross, so it is a traversal pick that also helps you reach trinkets and collectibles you can already see.

How to read the table

  • Slots are equipment-menu values, which is what your capacity actually spends. A few workshop labels disagree; the equipment menu wins.
  • Shop price is Looter's tent price in currency, with the Queens cost of the same purchase in brackets. "Found in the world" means it is not on his shelf — it comes from a room, a trial or a Spirit return.
  • Upgrade tiers is how many times a Workshop Token can improve it. Upgrading never raises the slot cost.

If you only want the buying order, the trinkets guide has that. If you are deciding what to run right now, the tips and FAQ covers the flame-as-health interactions that make low-health trinkets worth it.

Where trinkets come from

Three routes, and a trinket usually belongs to exactly one of them:

  1. Looter's tent. Currency purchases, the only route with a price tag. Prices run 150–400 currency plus a Queens component.
  2. Spirit returns. The Full Flock chain (20 spirits) hands trinkets over as it progresses, which is why Spirit rewards and shop stock rarely overlap.
  3. Room finds. The rest sit in the world, usually behind a puzzle or a hidden wall — that is what Glass Eye and Rusted Compass exist to find.

One caveat before you hunt

The October 2 second patch fixed Spirit rewards that were missed when a player left the room before collecting them: update, then load the affected save and the missing trinket should appear. It also fixed upgraded Melted Candle not always working and shop prices that differed from the displayed price. If a trinket seems missing, update and reload before assuming the route is broken.
